Overview
Creator Metrics is a read-only analytics utility used to export social media metrics from accounts that have explicitly authorized access through official platform login flows.
Information collected
Depending on the permissions granted by the account owner, Creator Metrics may access basic account profile data, public media metadata, and content performance metrics such as views, likes, comments, shares, timestamps, captions, media identifiers, and media URLs.
How information is used
Information is used only to create internal analytics, reports, spreadsheet exports, and dashboards for the account owner. Creator Metrics does not use this data to send messages, publish content, run ads, profile users for advertising, or sell data.
Data sharing
Creator Metrics does not sell or rent data. Data may be stored in files, spreadsheets, databases, or dashboard tools controlled by the account owner. Data may also be processed by infrastructure providers required to run the application.
Data storage and security
Access tokens and API credentials should be stored only in private environment variables or secret managers. Raw exports should not be committed to public repositories. The project is designed to keep secrets and exported data out of source control.
Data retention and deletion
The account owner controls exported data and may delete local files, spreadsheets, database records, and dashboard datasets at any time. If platform access is no longer needed, the account owner should revoke the app authorization from the relevant platform settings.
User control
Access is granted through official TikTok and Instagram authorization flows. Users can revoke access using the privacy, security, or connected apps settings provided by each platform.
